Big Nights From Amonett And Regan Propel Picket Co Over Buffaloes

The Pickett County Bobcats boys basketball team defended their home court Friday night with a 64 to 49 win over the Clarkrange Buffaloes.

Pickett County owned a three point lead after the first quarter and lever looked back.

Zach Amonett led both teams in scoring with 26 points. Amonett hit on 10 of his 13 free throws for the Bobcats and he splashed four threes as well.

John Parker Regan added 22 points for the Bobcats. Regan finished the night seven of eight from the free throw line.

Clarkrange’s Gatlyn LaRue led the Buffaloes with 15 points. Teammate Nate Hall scored 13 also.

Pickett County host 3A Warren County tomorrow night in Byrdstown.

Clarkrange host region rival Jackson County Tuesday night in Fentress County.
