Bees Band Percussionist Shows Versatility In Transition This Year

Will Jackson has spent the last few years banging it out on the most recognizable part of a marching bands drum line; the snare.

This year, however, he has had to transition to the tenors or quads. Now that may not sound like all that much of a transition, but it can be so foreign.

Your grip changes, the marching style because of weight distribution, not to mention being the beating heart of the band versus a style piece at times.

Will also is a man of many talents occasionally playing piano, among other things.
