Amonett’s Buzzer Beater Lifts Pickett Co Over LA

Zach Amonett’s 28, and lay up with six seconds to play help push the Pickett County Bobcats past Livingston Academy 72 to 71 Friday night in Overton County.

12 of Amonett’s 28 came in the first quarter. Amonett knocked down all seven of his free throw attempts against LA.

Slayde Copeland scored 12 points for Pickett County while Mark Smith added 11 points.

Matthew Sells led the way for Livingston Academy with 25 points and Will McDonald scored 12 points.

Livingston Academy travels to McMinnville Monday night to take on the Pioneers while Pickett County plays again tomorrow night against Clinton County (KY) in Byrdstown.
