Eaglettes Bring Home Road Win Behind Bouldin’s 19

The Lady Eaglettes of Van Buren County picked up a road win over Gordonsville 62 to 54 on Monday night.

Van Buren County took a seven point lead into halftime. The lead remained at seven after three quarters of play. The Eaglettes hit 12 of 15 free throw down the stretch, in the forth quarter, to seal the game.

As a team Van Buren County hit 18 of 24 free throw attempts while Gordonsville hit 15 of their 23 tries. Gordonsville hit five, three point shots on the game compared to Van Buren County who hit four.

Layla Bouldin scored a team high 19 points and her teammate Riley Scoggins added 12 points as well.

With the win Van Buren County’s record improves to 14-6, 2-1. The Eaglettes host Hardy Memorial Tuesday night, in Spencer.
