Lady Bobcats Spend Second Week In AP Top Five

The Pickett County girls basketball team remained the fourth ranked team in Class 1A for the second week in a row.

Last week the Lady Bobcats earned wins against Red Boiling Springs and Clay County.

This Tuesday Pickett County beat Jackson County, 73 to 28, to improve their record to 18-1 overall and a 6-1 District Six record.

Pickett County’s lone loss on the season came on  December 13 against Clarkrange. Since that loss the Lady Bobcats have won 12 straight games.
