Smith’s 37 Leads Bulldog Golf Over York

Aden Smith shot a 37 on Thursday to lead the Clay County Golf Team over York Institute.

Smith was followed by Zach Schmucker’s 40, while Jeff Spivey shot a 44. Colton Smith shot a 47, and Caleb McClerran rounded out the team with a 49.

As a whole, the team shot a combined 168 to take down York (221).

On the girls side, Eliza Jenkins shot a 54 to lead the Lady Bulldogs. Katie Burnett shot a 60, and Lexi Head shot a 61. Kenady Mays shot a 62, but both her and Head’s scores were thrown out.

Clay County’s next match will be on Aug. 27.
