Zero Point First Quarter Haunts Lady Blue Devils Basketball

The Jackson County Lady Blue Devils lost to Trousdale County, in overtime, Tuesday night 59 to 56, after they scored zero first quarter points.

Jackson County trailed 22 to 9 in the first half. In the second half the Lady Blue Devils scored a combined 37 points to tie the game up at 46  at the end of regulation.

Jackson County’s Ericka Davidson scored eight of the Lady Blue Devils 10 overtime points but her efforts feel three points short.

Davidson scored a team high 23 points. No other Lady Blue devils scored in double digits.

The Lady Blue Devils will play again this Friday night at home against Gordonsville at 6 P.M.
