By York Dragonettes Basketball Runners-Up in Class 2A
The York Institute Dragonettes fell to the Westview Lady Chargers 47-37 in the Class 2A State Championship game today. Gabby Beaty led the Dragonettes with 20 points and 9 rebounds in the loss. The Lady Chargers shot 32 free throws compared to eight for York. The Dragonettes finish as runners-up in Class AA and a final record of 26-7.
