Wildcats Cruise To Twenty Point Win Against Trousdale Co

The Monterey boys basketball team beat Trousdale County 72 to 52 Tuesday night in Monterey.

The Wildcats jumped out to a 42 to to 26 first half lead and the game never got any closer than that.

Monterey out shot Trousdale County from deep as they hit eight, three point shots compared to Trousdale’s four.

Monterey also enjoyed a big night from the free throw line as the Wildcats hit 16 of their 17 attempts compared to four out of 13 for Trousdale County.

Peyton West led all scorers with 24 points to go along with 10 assist and four steals. Cayden Jones scored 12 points and Silas Randolph added 10 points and five rebounds.

The Wildcats will host Pickett County Friday night in Monterey.
