Wildcat Comeback Falls Just Short Against Scott

The Livingston Wildcats made a fiery attempt at a second-half comeback against Scott on Monday, but fell just short in a 69-68 defeat.

After trailing by a 43-27 count at half, the Wildcats out-scored Scott 23-12 in the third quarter to cut the deficit down to five points.

Livingston managed to claw all the way back into the game when they tied the score at 61, but they fell just short in the end and lost by a final score of 69-68.

Matthew Sells led all scorers with 39 points, while Will McDonald added 15. Hunter Coffman scored eight points of his own.

With the loss, the Wildcats finished second in the Oneida Christmas tournament.

Livingston will be back in action on Jan. 3 when they host Pickett County.
