Upperman Bowling Rolls To Big Win Over Blue Devils

The Upperman boys and girls bowling teams defeated Jackson County Monday in Cookeville at Bowling World.

The Upperman boys won the match 24.5 to 2.5 against the Blue Devils. Zach Null for Upperman bowled a two frame high of 237 and teammate Shawn Cooper rolled in a 240 for his best score.

Jackson County’s top two boys bowlers Brandon Murphy and and Spenser Langford bowled a 199 and a 163 respectively for the frame highs.

On the girls side of things Taylor Higgins bowled a 230 in game two for the high score of the day for the girls. Morgan Green of Upperman finished with the second highest score of 179 through three games.

Jackson County’s Kara Pitty bowled a team high 141 and Bailey Llyod finished with a three game high of 121.

Upperman travels to Hendersonville to take on White House Tuesday afternoon.
