UCSN Featured: York Track & Field’s Sophie Storie Repeats as State Qualifier

Last Season, Sophie Storie – a junior track & field athlete from Alvin C. York Institute – competed in the TSSAA Division I Small Class State Track & Field Championship. Storie, who runs the 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles, qualified for state in the 300mH, placing 8th in the State Meet.

This season, the Alvin C. York Institute junior qualified for state again the 300mH. In this UCSN Feature, Sophie tells us how her season went, if last year’s result motivates her this year, her approach to state, and more.
