UCSN Featured: York Track & Field’s Dalton Barger on State Meet

On May 24th, TSSAA held their annual state championship meets. Among the competitors were the 100 meter relay and 200 meter relay team from Alvin C. York Institute. The Dragons 4×1 and 4×2 team had state experience, making it to this meet in the previous year.

By the time the dust settled, the Dragons placed 4th in the 4×100 meter relay, and 3rd in the 4×200 relay.

Before the Dragons made the trip to Murfreesboro, we had the chance to speak to some of the qualifiers. In this UCSN Feature, hear from Dalton Barger – a senior track & field athlete at Alvin C. York Institute. Dalton tells us about his experience this season, what he learned from state last year, and what he will miss from high school track.
