UCSN Featured: York Track & Field’s Aidan Sweathomas on State Meet

On May 24th, TSSAA held their annual state championship meets. Among the competitors were the 100 meter relay and 200 meter relay team from Alvin C. York Institute. The Dragons 4×1 and 4×2 team had state experience, making it to this meet in the previous year.

By the time the dust settled, the Dragons placed 4th in the 4×100 meter relay, and 3rd in the 4x2oo relay.

Before the Dragons made the trip to Murfreesboro, we had the chance to speak to some of the qualifiers. In this UCSN Feature, hear from Aidan Sweathomas – a sophomore track & field athlete at Alvin C. York Institute. Aidan tells us about his experience this season, what he learned from state last year, and what he looks forward to next year.
