UC Basketball Hosts VFL

It’s always so much fun to attend or cover a camp where a bunch of former stand out athletes from a region give back.

Certainly UC Basketball camp is no different. Cade Crossland, Brooklyn Crouch, Japeth Richmond, and so many more returned for the three day event.

However, what always takes it over the top is getting someone who has really represented not just an area like the UC well, but the state of TN wonderfully.

That is John Fulkerson, Fulky as they call him.

Fulkerson is from Kingsport, TN and not unlike the area here in the UC, he grew up attending camps like this and looking up to the counselors.

Now he not only is one, but he is the one. The big picture on every promo, and the name people flock to.

A fantastic representative for the power T and certainly a great representative for this state, Fulky did not disappoint when we got ten minutes to chat with him about why he loves doing camps like this, and where he is headed professionally.
