Due to the storms that passed through on Sunday, many District Tournaments have been pushed back a day to play in better conditions.

For starters on the Class A side of things, games in the District 6A Softball Tournament that are being played in Gordonsville have all been postponed for a day, meaning that Clarkrange-Jackson County and Clay County-Gordonsville will all play on Tuesday. Times have yet to be determined.

Additionally, Monterey-Trousdale County has also been postponed and are awaiting makeup-date information.

For the baseball tournament, Monterey’s side of the bracket has been pushed back a day as well. Jackson County will take on Red Boiling Springs on Tuesday at 5 P.M., and Monterey-Trousdale County will take place following that game.

As of now, Clay County-Gordonsville and Clarkrange-Pickett County are both still being played as scheduled.

For the District 8AA baseball tournament, all games at Upperman will be played on Tuesday at the same times (4 P.M. and 6:30 P.M.). Game one will feature the hosting Upperman Bees and Cannon County, with the winner taking on Watertown immediately after.

The DeKalb County side of the bracket is playing as scheduled, along with the entirety of the 8AA Softball Tournament.

The District 6AAA Softball Tournament has also been moved to Tuesday, as Cookeville is scheduled to play Warren County, and White County will face Stone Memorial.

This is a developing story, and will be updated as more information becomes available.
