Monterey’s Kaylin Shepard on Wrestling Season After Injury

Kaylin Shepard is a sophomore at Monterey High School. Shepard has been wrestling since fifth grade, joining the high school level as a freshman. Through a co-op program, she competes in wrestling for the Cookeville Cavaliers.

Last season unfortunately ended early for Kaylin due to injury. This season, hear from Shepard why she was primed to get back on the mat, and what her goals for the season are. Kaylin also tells us about her experience with high school wrestling and what her adjustment to the level has been like.
