Miss Basketball Spotlight: DeKalb County’s Kadee Ferrell

With the regular season for boys and girls basketball hitting the home stretch, we will be spotlighting different Mr. and Miss Basketball candidates around the Upper Cumberland.
Today, we take a look at DeKalb County Junior Kadee Ferrell.
Ferrell is the leading scorer and rebounder for the Lady Tigers, and has already scored her 1,000th point as a junior. She’s averaging 16.8 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists a game, to go along with two steals per contest. She’s shooting 45% from the floor and has grabbed 629 rebounds thus far in her career.
What sets her apart? If you ask Head Coach Danny Fish, he will tell you it’s her physicality.
