Lady Buffaloes Stay Undefeated In District Play Against RBS

The Lady Buffaloes of Clarkrange rolled to another victory Friday night against Red Boiling Springs 71-33, on the road in Macon County.

The game was put out of reach after the first quarter in which Clarkrange led 21 to 7. After the Lady Buffaloes allowed 16 second quarter points, Coach Rogers defense surrendered only 10 points in the second half.

Clarkrange’s Kassie Monday led all scorers with 18 points. Kaylie Monday dropped 16 points and Chloe Howard added 14 points of her own.

The Lady Buffaloes hit six of their seven free throw attempts and they knocked down nine threes as a team.

The win improves Clarkrange’s record to 19-2, 8-0. Clarkrange will host Pickett County this Tuesday in a match up between the third and fourth ranked teams in 1A girls basketball.
