Former Lady Cat Lamb, Brings Home Schools First All-Region Honor

Keelie Lamb, like all other collegiate winter and spring athletes, saw their sports season come to an abrupt end with the shutdown due to coronavirus. Lamb a senior at Kentucky Wesleyan, earned a school first Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association All-Region honor. Lamb was named to the Second-Team Honors.

Lamb helped lead Kentucky Wesleyan to their first ever Top 25 ranking and a 28-3 and 16-2 conference record. The Lady Panthers were also 17-0 at home this season. Lamb won 55 total games against only eight losses in her time at Kentucky Wesleyan. That time frame also included a 34-game home win streak.

Lamb finished the season with 14.2 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game also. Lamb closes out her career with 1,265 points, 515 rebounds, 266 assist, and 180 steals.

Two years in a row, Lamb earned First Team selections to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference’s first team. It was Lamb’s third all conference honor as well.
