Ferrell’s 16 Leads Lady Tigers Over Livingston

The DeKalb County Lady Tigers earned a 45-35 win over the Livingston Academy Lady Cats on Tuesday.

Both offenses got off to a solid start, but it was the Lady Tigers who took an eight-point lead into halftime. The second half saw the pace of the game drop substantially, but it wasn’t enough to deter DeKalb as they earned a 10-point victory.

Kadee Ferrell led all with 16 points for DeKalb, while Mya Ruch and Emme Colwell added nine points apiece.

Keaton Webb paced Livingston with 11 points, and Aleah Melton scored nine points of her own.

DeKalb will be back in action on Friday, when they take on Watertown. Livingston will play at Smith County on the same day.
