Dragons Win Huddleston Shepherd Family Vision Care Award

Huddleston and Shepherd Family Vision Care went to all area football games during our Football Friday Tailgates this past season.
“Our team at the office came from various schools around the Upper Cumberland,” said Dr. Garrett Shepherd. “They wanted to support their schools and show school pride. They came up with the idea to wear schools colors on certain days and try to give back. When we got to partner with Stonecom we were able to take it to another level and be able to make a big difference on something on a larger scale like project graduation.”
Huddleston and Shepard Family Vision Care set up at one school a week and set up a photo booth for the fans to take pictures in and show their school spirit.
“It just always feels good to be apart of something like this,” said Dr. Jonathan Cobble. “You get to help the youth of the area get to excel and to well. It’s just great.”
The school that showed the most school spirit would win $1,000 for their project graduation, to give the seniors a great last night to show their school spirit.
“Sometimes we are in situations where it is harder to come up with funds to do something like this,” said Bruce Winningham Athletic Director at York Institute. “This will help so much. It will provide our students with an opportunity to receive some things that they would not have had… It means the worls it really does. I tank Dr. Cobble and Dr. Shepherd and I continue to thank them. This is just a tremendous help and we are so very appreciative of all of it.”
This years winner was York Institute. The $1,000 that York will go toward prizes for their seniors who attend project graduation.
