Dragonettes Fall To Top-Ranked Macon Co

The York Institute Dragonettes fell to Macon County on Friday by a final score of 65-40.

York got off to a rough start offensively, and they found themselves down by 12 points after one quarter of play. The lead grew in the second, and the Tigerettes held a 37-22 lead at halftime.

Macon continued to expand the lead in the second half, and when all was said and done, the Dragonettes fell by a final score of 65-40.

Haylee Johnson led York with 14 points, while Gabby Beaty scored 11 points.

The Dragonettes will be back on the court on Feb.11, when they take on Livingston Academy.
