Blue Devils Have Trouble With Inside Game From RBS

The Jackson County Blue Devils boys basketball team dropped their home contest to Red Boiling Springs 62 to 50, in Gainesboro.

The Blue Devils erased an early six-point first quarter deficit, to trail by only two at halftime. Ultimately Jackson County struggled to keep Dylan Marsh off of the scoreboard as he scored 15 of his game high 25 in the second half.

Red Boiling Springs did own an advantage at the foul line as they hit nine of their 13 free throw attempts compared to Jackson County who hit five of their eight tries.

Jacob Hardy led the Blue Devils in points with 11 and Chris Pigg added 10 point of his own.

With the loss the Blue Devils regular season record drops to 8-15, 2-10. Jackson County will welcome Pickett County to Gainesboro, this Friday night.
