Panther Football Loses In Lewisburg To Marshall Co.
The Stone Memorial Panthers traveled to Lewisburg on Friday to take on Marshall County, and the Panthers were defeated by a final score of 39-8.
Marshall County opened the game with a touchdown on their opening drive, and they never looked back.
They scored all 39 of their points unanswered to take a lead that Stone simply couldn’t overcome.
The Panthers got on the board late in the fourth on a 50-yard touchdown run from Quarterback Bryant Carter, but it was too little too late, as Marshall County is moving on in the playoffs after winning by a final score of 39-8.
