LA Football Looks For First Round Win Against Maplewood

Livingston Academy (10-0, 4-0) vs Maplewood (3-7, 2-3)

For the first time in program history the Livingston Academy Wildcats finished the regular season 10-0 and the Wildcats won the Region 3, 4A championship.

Livingston Academy host the Maplewood Panthers who finished the regular season 3-7 on the year and 2-3 in Region 4.

Bruce Lamb said earlier in the week that Maplewood has more team speed than any other team they have faced this season. However, Lamb did say that Maplewood lacks some of the size that Livingston has played throughout the year.

Maplewood’s three victories came against Lawrence County, Spring Hill, and Coffee County.

Region 3, which Livingston is in, has gone winless against Region 4, which Maplewood is in, over the past two seasons.

The Wildcats will kickoff at 7 P.M. against Maplewood Friday night in Livingston.
