Panthers Face Tough Test In Playoffs Against Marshall County

Stone Memorial (3-7, 1-3) @ Marshall County (8-2, 5-0)

The Stone Memorial Panthers travel to Lewisburg to take on Marshall County for their first-round playoff match up this Friday night.

Per Stone Memorial head coach Derik Samber teams usually lose one game per freshman that plays significant minutes for them. Early in the season Samber said jokingly the Panthers were on track to lose about 14 games.

Samber’s seen his young team grow, develop, and compete throughout the season and he’s seen them play their best football over the last month.

The Panthers face a big test against Region 4 Class 4A’s top ranked team in Marshall County. Marshall County finished the regular season ranked seventh in Class 4A.

Kickoff is set or 7 P.M. in Lewisburg.
