DeKalb, Jackson County Postpone District Tournament Games

So far, two UC Sports Nation teams are having to wait another day to begin their postseason journeys.

First, the DeKalb County Lady Tigers were set to host Smith County in a battle of two teams that recently played on Feb. 11, a game that DeKalb won by a 40-34 margin. Now due to inclement weather, the game has been postponed a day.

For now, Head Coach Danny Fish says they are planning on playing around 6 P.M. on Tuesday, but everything as of now is TBA.

Jackson County was also supposed to open their District Tournament with a game at home against Trousdale, but they are now looking at Tuesday as a reschedule date due to weather, according to Head Coach and Athletic Directory Jim Brown.

The last time these teams played was on Feb. 8, a game that Jackson County won by a single point (39-38). Jackson County also won the other meeting between them and Trousdale on Jan. 15 by a final score of 57-49.
