York Dragonettes Basketball Move On To State Semifinals

The York Dragonettes defeated the Gibson County Lady Pioneers today 53-50 in their 2A quarterfinal game of the BlueCross Basketball Championships. York trailed by as many as nine in the second half and started the fourth quarter down by six. It took just one field goal and 13 good free throws to get the job done in the end.
