Woman Found Dead In Santa Ana Of Apparent Stabbing

According to County News, an unidentified woman was found dead in Santa Ana early Sunday morning from what authorities believe to be a stab wound.

The victim’s body, described as an adult female, was discovered in a mound of trash next to the railroad tracks that run perpendicular to East McFadden Avenue, just east of South Minnie Street, at about 12:29 a.m.

Responding paramedics declared the woman deceased, and police confirmed that she had at least one stab wound.

SAPD homicide investigators went to the location, although it is unclear whether the woman was attacked by an unknown person or if her wound was self-inflicted.

The SAPD has yet to name the victim or provide details about how she was fatally stabbed.

It is probable that the victim was a transient.
