Two Suspects Arrested in Glendale for Possessing $200K Worth of Stolen Apple Products

Two people have been taken into custody after authorities discovered they were allegedly in possession of over $200,000 worth of stolen Apple products linked to a cargo theft near Sparks, Nevada, early Thursday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), officers received a “be on the lookout” alert for a white cargo van suspected of transporting the stolen electronics.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department joined the search effort, deploying a helicopter to track the suspects’ movements. Around 3:40 p.m., the helicopter team spotted the van traveling southbound on the Golden State (5) Freeway near Western Avenue in Glendale.

CHP officers quickly initiated a traffic stop and arrested both occupants of the vehicle without incident.

The investigation into the cargo truck theft and interstate transport of stolen goods remains ongoing.
