Two men suspected of fatally shooting a 67-year-old man in Garden Grove are now behind bars, police said Wednesday.
Rodolfo Ramirez, 37, of Garden Grove, and Gustavo Covarrubias, 51, of Santa Ana, were arrested Tuesday in connection with the killing of Mario Barrios, also of Garden Grove, according to authorities.
Police said Barrios was shot around 4 p.m. on September 21 in a parking lot located in the 12600 block of Westminster Avenue, a mostly industrial area with some retail businesses.
Sgt. Nick Jensen of the Garden Grove Police Department said Barrios was shot in the upper body and transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
