The Tucson Police Department is searching for Teodoro Sanchez, a 79-year-old Hispanic man reported missing earlier this month.
A Silver Alert was issued following his disappearance. Sanchez is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, 135 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety reports that he was last seen in Tucson, Arizona, at East 36th Street and Country Club Road.
Sanchez was last heard from on August 4 and has not communicated with his family since.
He may have his basic flip-style cell phone, which is thought to be out of battery.
Anyone with information should contact Officer F. Magos of the Tucson Police Department at 520-837-7740.
Authorities have not revealed what Sanchez was wearing last, but he frequently wears a dark-colored beanie hat. Community members have distributed flyers and shared information online. The state’s information page provides further resources and instructions for aiding with Silver Alerts.
