BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield police are asking for the public’s help to identify three juveniles accused of assaulting and robbing a person while selling candy bars in November.
The incident occurred Nov. 23 in the 1700 block of Custer Avenue, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
Investigators said the three boys were selling candy bars in the neighborhood when they approached the victim. After the victim declined to make a purchase, two of the juveniles allegedly assaulted him and stole his wallet.
Police said the suspects then ran toward the 1800 block of Stillman Avenue.
Officials described the first suspect, the only one shown in a photo released by BPD, as a juvenile with a slim build and short black hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray shorts.
The other two suspects were described as short juveniles with short black hair. One was wearing a gray sweater and gray shorts, while the other was wearing a gray sweatshirt and pants.
