Texas Man Arrested After Disturbing Diaper-Clad Confrontation with Young Girls

Police in Tyler, Texas, have arrested 45-year-old Wesley Worl after he allegedly approached two 11-year-old girls near Andy Woods Elementary School while wearing only a diaper, shouting “Goo goo ga ga, I need a diaper change,” and asking them to change him.

The July 29 incident left the girls “visibly shaking” and “truly petrified,” according to an affidavit. They quickly fled into a nearby alley. Police tracked Worl down using a partial license plate number, arresting him at his workplace on August 7. He now faces charges of solicitation of a minor and criminal trespass.

Court records reveal Worl’s decades-long history of similar offenses involving children. Since 1999, he has been accused or convicted in multiple incidents — from loitering near daycares and Walmarts in diapers, to lewd conduct and stalking. He previously served seven years in prison for a 2006 offense and has received numerous criminal trespass warnings over the years.

Worl is being held at Smith County Jail on a $600,000 bond.
