The Third Squad reports the arrest of two people for an incident that occurred on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 7:32 PM in Westbury.
According to investigators, officers responded to Target at 999 Corporate Drive after receiving a report of a larceny in progress. Officers discovered and arrested Gustavo Tellez Carillo, 36, of New York, and Erika Gomez Moreno, 33, of New York.
Further research revealed that both defendants are in the United States illegally and are facing removal proceedings.
Defendants Gustavo Tellez Carillo and Erika Gomez Moreno have both been charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree. They were released on appearance tickets and detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
