Tallahassee man detained after traffic stop near busy intersection in The Villages

A Tallahassee man was detained after deputies found him driving with a suspended license near a busy intersection in The Villages.

Deputies received an alert about 43-year-old Ronald Wade driving a black Infiniti SUV westbound on State Road 44 near Morse Boulevard in Wildwood at 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

Wade, the registered owner of the vehicle, had two active suspensions on his driver’s license at the time it was hit. Soon after, they discovered him on State Road 44 and stopped him at County Road 173. According to the report, he was suspended for failure to support delinquency on October 13 and for nonjudgment on November 19.

Wade was arrested for driving with a suspended license and taken to the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after paying a $500 bond.
