The sister of Suzanne Simpson, the Texas mother of four who disappeared one year ago, has been charged with harassing the family of Simpson’s husband, who is accused of killing her.
Suzanne Simpson, 51, went missing on October 6, 2024, following a domestic dispute with her husband, Brad Simpson, outside their Olmos Park home near San Antonio. Brad, 53, has been charged with murder and is being held on $3 million bond.
Now, Teresa Clark, Suzanne Simpson’s sister, faces misdemeanor charges for allegedly harassing Brad Simpson’s family through threatening phone calls and targeted social media posts. Police reports said Clark’s messages included warnings such as:
“You don’t know who you’re messing with,” and “You will not get away with this.”
According to Sig Christenson, investigative reporter with the San Antonio Express-News, a conviction could result in a $2,000 fine, 180 days in jail, or both.
Brad Simpson’s trial is scheduled for February 2026.
Authorities have previously reported that DNA from Suzanne Simpson was found on a motorized handsaw owned by Brad Simpson, which he allegedly tried to conceal during the investigation. Surveillance also reportedly showed him driving to a dump with trash bags the day after Suzanne was last seen.
An affidavit unsealed last year noted that Suzanne had told her personal banker:
“If I go missing, look for me in a lake.”
The case continues to draw significant media attention as both families navigate grief and anger surrounding the tragedy.
