Shooting In Pilsen Neighborhood Leaves 1 Man Dead And 2 Injured

One man was killed and two others were injured early Sunday morning in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood.

At 1:39 a.m., the males, ages 41, 43, and 46, were standing outdoors in the 1900 block of West 17th Street when someone approached and shot them all.

The 41-year-old and 43-year-old men were both shot in the right leg but were reported in good condition at Mount Sinai Hospital, whereas the 46-year-old male was struck numerous times in the torso and died there.

As of late Sunday morning, no one was in jail for the incident. Detectives from the Belmont Area were conducting an investigation.
