The Metropolitan Police Department has issued an alert for 16-year-old Janelle Thomas, who was last seen last Friday in the 800 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, authorities are appealing to the public for any information that may assist them in locating her.
Janelle, described as a Black female standing 4’11”, weighing 125 pounds, with a medium brown complexion, black hair in a low bun, and brown eyes, has not been discovered, and there are no new leads. She was last seen wearing a pink and black leather coat with fur trim, light blue denim jeans, and black furry boots, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The Metropolitan Police Department stated that the issue is time-sensitive and asked citizens to submit any information and use Janelle’s photo as identification. The police have investigated multiple tips, but they have not found Janelle. The department’s Youth and Family Engagement Division is investigating the issue, according to the Metropolitan Police Department’s X account.
