Sacramento police and the DEA seized significant quantity of meth, heroin and cash

The Sacramento Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit collaborated with the Drug Enforcement Administration to carry out various search warrants, resulting in the seizure of methamphetamine, heroin, cash, and firearms.

On September 4, officers recovered roughly 48 pounds of meth, five pounds of heroin, $38,000 in cash, and two guns, according to SPD.

According to SPD, Angelo Tapia, 30, was detained for narcotics possession with intent to sell.

“This collaboration underscores the commitment that the Sacramento Police Department and Sacramento DEA maintain to keep illegal and dangerous drugs off of our streets and out of the hands of our community,” SPD said in a statement.
