Michael Person, who is entangled in legal issues, suffered the consequences of his misdeeds on Friday, August 22, when a Sacramento court rendered its decision. The Sacramento District Attorney’s Office said that Deputy District Attorney Megan Adame oversaw the prosecution, which resulted in Person’s conviction on multiple narcotics and firearms charges.
The person was sentenced by the Honorable Carlton Davis following a conviction for possession with intent to sell narcotics such as cocaine and fentanyl. This sentence came two years after Citrus Heights police officers conducted a traffic check on August 10, 2023, and discovered narcotics and a variety of firearms in a vehicle with Person as a passenger, including loaded handguns and two AK-47s.
The conviction included seven charges of being a criminal in possession of a handgun, casting a long shadow over Person’s already troubled past. The amount of illegal goods discovered with him was substantial, with over a hundred rounds of ammunition and body armor among the confiscated materials, creating a bleak image of potential violence foiled.
The DA’s office stated that, in addition to the drugs, a loaded handgun, four other firearms, two AK-47s, an ample stash of over a hundred rounds of ammunition, and body armor—all of which point to Person’s serious intentions—were discovered during the search of the vehicle. The case #23FE012682 verdict ended an inquiry that began with a routine traffic check.
