Raja Jackson, son of UFC legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, has been arrested in California weeks after violently assaulting pro wrestler Syko Stu during a live-streamed wrestling event.
Viral Attack Sparks Outrage
The incident, which occurred three weeks ago, quickly went viral online. Video showed Raja brutally beating Syko Stu mid-event, sparking widespread backlash and demands for justice.
For weeks, there were no updates, prompting an online petition calling for Raja’s arrest. The petition criticized the delay, stating:
“Allowing such a violent incident to go unanswered undermines public trust in law enforcement and sends the wrong message about accountability for acts of violence. Stuart Smith and his family deserve justice. Our community deserves reassurance that violent acts will be met with appropriate legal action.”
The petition urged the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) to take swift action, noting potential charges including felony assault and attempted murder.
Arrest and Charges
On Thursday morning, LAPD officers arrested the 25-year-old, booking him on a felony assault charge, according to TMZ Sports.
Jail records confirm Raja is currently in custody on a $50,000 bond.
Rampage Jackson Speaks Out
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has addressed his son’s case publicly, acknowledging the brutality of the incident but expressing hope that Raja receives leniency.
