A Pueblo man was sentenced to 90 days in prison after pleading guilty to sexual exploitation of a child in September.
According to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), 46-year-old Patricio Trujillo pleaded guilty on September 11 following an investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which began in early 2024 in response to a cyber tip. According to PCSO, the inquiry discovered that Trujillo had images of child sexual abuse on his cell phone.
He was arrested in December 2024 and has remained in the Pueblo County Jail since then.
In addition to 90 days in jail, Trujillo has been sentenced to undergo supervised probation and register as a sex offender.
