A woman was shot Tuesday night following an argument with a man on Chicago’s South Side, according to police.
Officers arrived about 11:18 p.m. to a report of a person shot in the 800 block of East 82nd Street.
A 40-year-old woman was apparently arguing with an unidentified man when he pulled out a revolver and shot her in the left forearm.
The Chicago Fire Department responded to provide medical assistance, but the woman declined treatment on the scene.
It is still unclear what the altercation was over.
There have been no arrests made. Detectives from Area Two are conducting an investigation.
