The Tucson Police Department reported an assault on a Sun Tran bus driver at a drop-off location near Udall Park.
According to detectives, a suspect confronted the driver.
According to police, after the driver got off the bus, the suspect followed him, confronting him before hitting him with one or more rocks.
The suspect then fled on another Sun Tran bus. Police added that efforts to locate him are still underway.
According to TPD, detectives from the aggravated assault section went to the site.
Police stated the driver’s injuries were minor.
