The Arlington Police Department says a 46-year-old man died in a single-vehicle collision on Tuesday evening after falling asleep behind the wheel.

Around 7:30 p.m., a crash happened in I-30’s westbound lanes near Field Road.
According to investigators, the flatbed truck drove off the roadway, collided with a light pole, and then hit a guardrail, causing the truck to roll down a slope and crash on its roof.
The 46-year-old male driver died at the site.
Investigators suspect the driver fell asleep. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
The driver’s name has not been revealed.
