A Chicago man has been charged with aggravated battery after critically hurting a 24-year-old in an Uptown stabbing, according to Chicago police.
Robert Higgs, 62, of Chicago, was detained on Tuesday in the 5200 block of North Sheridan Road. He faces one felony count of aggravated violence and use of a dangerous weapon.
Higgs was recognized as the perpetrator who stabbed and critically injured a 24-year-old man on September 20 in the 4800 block of N. Broadway, police said.
His next court date is set for Thursday.
