The man responsible for stabbing and killing another man on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at a DK convenience store in South Central El Paso has been taken into custody, El Paso Police say.
Manuel Ivan Gutierrez, 30, is charged with murder after fatally stabbing Juan Francisco Gomez, 44, on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, police responded to a report of a stabbing at a DK convenience store on the 5600 block of Alameda Ave.
Officers arrived at the scene to find Gomez with obvious stab wounds.
The Crimes Against Persons team arrived to the scene, and the investigation found that Gomez was stabbed as he left the convenience shop.
Gutierrez fled the scene but was subsequently apprehended by police. He was charged with murder, with a bond set later by a district judge.
