A body was discovered floating in unincorporated Central Broward on Saturday afternoon, prompting an investigation, according to police.
Fort Lauderdale Police received reports of a body floating along the 2500 block of Northwest Sixth Street.
Deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office came on the scene with dive teams and found the body.
The body has not been identified.
BSO homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
